Summary

Responsible for coordinating with government experimentation teams and property officers to ensure proper management and accountability of equipment. Plays a crucial role in supporting the logistical needs of government experimentation and equipment management activities. Requires strong coordination and communication skills to effectively manage equipment logistics, maintain accurate records, and ensure compliance with applicable regulations and policies.

Responsibilities

• Ensures that all equipment purchased for experimentation is accurately accounted for in the Defense Property Accountability System (DPAS) to comply with Federal and Department of Defense regulations. • Manages the processing of Government Furnished Property provided to third parties and coordinates equipment transfers between different AFRL Technical Directorates (TDs) or other owning organizations. • Coordinates with AF/Test Wing's logistics to ensure proper shipment and tracking of experimental equipment. • Participates in inventory process and daily audits; researches and resolves inventory discrepancies. • Conducts annual inventory reconciliation to ensure compliance with Air Force equipment inventory policy. • Maintains and manages accurate records of quantity, type, and value of material, equipment, merchandise, and/or supplies stocked. • Maintains shipping and receiving schedules. • Performs required administrative tasks; prepares all the necessary reports and correspondence. • May monitor security systems, tags, and lock-up areas. • Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

Experience

• Three to five years related experience or equivalent.
